Amanda Box
Founder and Communication Evangelist behind Box Communication

"The success of your communication determines your success in every other aspect of your life." That philosophy is the foundation for Amanda Box while teaching and facilitating the fundamentals of communication. Her 25+ year career has been spent in a dual role of teaching on the college level and consulting with business and industry.  

 

Specialty topics include: presentation skills, conflict management, communication through change, business writing and grammar, customer service, media training, team building, interpersonal communication, and listening skills.

Amanda Box taught full time on the university level for 10 years and continues to serve as adjunct faculty while consulting with business and industry. She rounded out her professional skills while serving as the communication coordinator for four years for Mississippi Forestry Association where she was responsible for all internal and external communication including several publications, the web site, and media campaigns.  

 

Amanda earned her undergraduate degree in communication from Freed-Hardeman University in 1991 and a master’s degree in communication from Mississippi College in 1993.

Chuck Box
Transforming teams: from the field to the boardroom

With over 25 years of leadership experience as a championship-winning baseball coach, Chuck Box brings a unique perspective to fostering teamwork, resilience, and peak performance in organizations. After three seasons at Texas A&M, Chuck currently serves as the Director of Program Development for the University of Texas baseball team in Austin, Texas. 

 

Chuck's coaching success extends far beyond wins and losses. Leading teams at the collegiate and high school levels, he developed players into high performers under pressure, instilled accountability, and nurtured strong communication and problem-solving skills—qualities equally essential in business environments. With a career record of 735-326 and a .692 winning percentage, Chuck understands how to build a high-performing team and sustain a winning culture.

 

In addition to his on-field achievements, Chuck is an accomplished educator, speaker, and program developer. He’s coached 14 All-Americans, 31 All-State players, and mentored athletes who have become leaders both on and off the field. His background in scouting and speaking at national clinics has honed his ability to identify potential, deliver clear strategies, and inspire action—key tools for driving organizational growth.

Chuck’s career is rooted in creating systems that work. Whether it was leading Hartfield Academy to state playoff berths, securing six state championships at Jackson Preparatory School, or advancing Freed-Hardeman University to a national top-10 ranking, he has a proven track record of building cohesive teams and elevating programs to new heights.


In the business world, Chuck channels his extensive coaching expertise into helping businesses enhance their workplace culture, leadership, and team dynamics. He offers a fresh, engaging approach to organizational development, bringing the lessons of the baseball field—strategic vision, adaptability, and a focus on results—to the boardroom.


A native of Columbus, Mississippi, Chuck holds a degree from Freed-Hardeman University and has pursued advanced studies at Mississippi College. He’s been married to Amanda since 1990, and together they share a passion for empowering others to reach their full potential, whether on the field or in the office.
